Help us secure a permanent home
What began in the home of Peninah now needs a permanent home of its own. Safe Spaces has built programs, a Digital Library and Safe Water infrastructure on the site it currently occupies, but the organization does not yet own the land beneath that work. The owner is planning to sell this property in spring 2027. Securing the property would protect years of community investment, preserve continuity for girls and women who rely on the programs and the vital clean water Social Enterprise.
Safe Spaces is seeking partners, foundations and private donors who believe in what girls and women in Mathare have built and want to help give that work a permanent home.
